Bad sector is a small portion on the hard disk that has suffered some damage and is therefore unusable. We can try fixing the problem by right clicking on the hard drive (c:, d: etc..) in the windows explorer. Click on the properties and click the tools tab. You will see the ‘Check now’ options, click it, and then check the box that says “Scan for and Attempt Recovery of Bad Sectors”. Click on the Start.
